What is the status of my ETA application?

If you applied for your ETA through Travel Visa Australia, log in to your account to check the status of your application online, at any time.

How do I check if my ETA is definitely linked to my passport?

If your ETA application were approved, you would have been sent an email confirming:

  • The expiry date
  • When you can start to use the visa
  • The reference number
  • The conditions of the visa
  • How many times you are permitted to enter Australia

If your ETA application was denied, then the Australian Government would have sent a notification outlining why your application was rejected.

You can also check on the Australian Government website to verify that your ETA is linked to your passport.

How do I check if my current ETA is still valid?

If you applied with us last time, simply log in to your account. The details of your previous ETA, including the expiry date, will be listed there.

I want to renew my ETA, EVV or visitor visa

Fantastic! Simply head to Travel Visa Australia and apply for a fresh ETA, EVV or Visitor Visa. Your application should only take 15 minutes.

Can I get a visa ASAP?

Provided all the paperwork is filled in correctly and there are no further requests from the Department of Home Affairs, ETA applications can be processed within 10 minutes.

For EVV applications, they can also be processed on the same day if you have correctly completed all application details and the Department of Home Affairs does not request any further information/documentation.

Visitor Visa applications can take anywhere between 4-6 weeks to process and we advise applying for your visitor visa with enough time to accommodate these longer processing times.

I made a mistake, how can I correct the detail/s of my ETA?

We understand, mistakes happen! If you discover that you’ve made an error on your application and your application hasn’t been processed yet, simply log in to your account and update your details with the correct information.

If your ETA application has already been processed, then please get in touch with our customer care team for assistance. Our friendly customer care team is available via telephone, 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

However, we highly recommend that you double and triple-check that your information is filled in accurately before submitting it.

I want to cancel the service

We understand that plans change. Our service is our professional advice and expertise. Unfortunately, once our service has been provided to you, it cannot be returned/cancelled whether or not you have changed your mind or you no longer wish to utilise it.

How can I get a refund?

If you submit a refund request through your Client Area prior to the visa application being submitted to the Department of Home Affairs, you will be entitled to a full refund.

However, if your application has already been submitted, there will be no refund, unless the application is unsuccessful.
