There is no need to make a paper visa application, visit any offices or have a visa label or stamp placed in your passport. If your ETA application is approved, your visa will automatically be linked to your passport ready for when you travel.

An ETA is usually valid for 12 months, unless your passport expires sooner, and will allow you to stay in Australia for up to three months at a time whilst your ETA is valid.
