Already applied for your Australian visa with TravelVisaAustralia.com? You can track your application status online, anytime.

Simply log in to your Client Area using the email and password you created during your application. From there, you’ll see real-time updates and the current stage of your visa processing.

How to Track Your Application

Log in to the Client Area

  • Go to Client Login ›
  • Enter your registered email and password.

View Your Dashboard

  • Once logged in, you’ll see all applications linked to your account.
  • The dashboard shows your application reference number, date submitted, and progress bar.

Check Status Updates

Each application will display one of the following statuses:

  • Submitted – Your application has been received.
  • In Progress – Documents are being reviewed and verified.
  • Awaiting Information – More details are required from you (we’ll email instructions).
  • Lodged with Immigration – Application lodged with the Department of Home Affairs.
  • Decision Made – Your visa has been granted or further steps are needed.

Download Documents

Grant letters, receipts, or correspondence will be available in your account.

Tracking by Visa Type

Depending on the visa you applied for, processing and tracking may differ:

Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)

(Subclass 601)

  • Most ETA applications are processed within minutes.
  • If further information is required, you’ll receive an email and an update in your dashboard.

eVisitor Visa

(Subclass 651)

  • Similar to ETA, usually approved quickly.
  • Log in to see your grant letter once issued.

Visitor Visa

(Subclass 600)

  • Processing may take several weeks.
  • Your dashboard will show whether additional documents are required.

Working Holiday Visa

(Subclass 417 / 462)

  • May require extra steps (health checks or specified work evidence for extensions).
  • Updates and requests will appear in your Client Area.

Student Visa

(Subclass 500)

  • Longer processing time depending on course start dates.
  • You’ll see document checklists and correspondence in your dashboard.

Transit Visa

(Subclass 777)

  • Usually processed within days.
  • Tracking updates available in your Client Area.

What If I Applied Directly with the Department of Home Affairs?

If you lodged your application independently (not through TravelVisaAustralia.com), you must track it using your ImmiAccount on the Home Affairs website.
